Calendar
Montagu's letters are scattered in libraries, archives and private collections around the world. Now, for the first time, EMCO's Edition of her correspondence offers digital reunification which will revolutionise how Montagu's letters are read and researched. Supplementing the facsimiles and transcriptions, EMCO has compiled an inventory of all the known letters written by Elizabeth Montagu, recording information about the dates and locations for each letter. The inventory is regularly updated as our Section Editors speculate on dating and location information and as and when we uncover new letters. We make this material available to you through the Calendar below, which offers a browseable dataset of when and where Montagu wrote her letters for over six decades.
