Sir Thomas Pym Hales (1726-1773), 4th Baronet Hales, was MP for Downton, a pocket borough controlled by his brother-in-law Lord Feversham, from 1762-1768. He returned to parliament in 1770 as the MP for Dover. He married and had five daughters; on his death, the title passed to his younger brother Philip.
