Susanna Harvey (1747-1802) was the author of moralising epistolary novels, including Interesting Memoirs (1785) and History of Miss Greville (1787). In 1774 she married the chemist and poet James Keir (1735-1820), a friend of Erasmus Darwin and Joseph Priestley. They had one daughter, Amelia.
