Thomas Robinson (1714-1747) was the son of Matthew Robinson and Elizabeth Drake, and was Elizabeth Montagu’s brother. He practised as a barrister, and died unmarried at the age of 33. He was the author of a work on the common law of Kent, entitled A Treatise on Gavelkind.
