Catherine Scott (b.1709) was the daughter of George Scott and his second wife Cecilia (c.1682-1764), of Scot’s Hall in Kent. She was lady-in-waiting to the Princess of Orange (Anne, daughter of King George II and Queen Caroline of Ansbach) and married Charles Saumaise, Major-General of the Groningen Guards and Chamberlain to the Prince of Orange.
