Frances Aspinwall (1715-1806) married James Berriman in India and had one daughter, Frances Berriman, who married Thomas Rumbold, Governor of Madras (1736-1791). Following Berriman's death, she married William Southby, who died in a massacre in Burma in 1759. Their elder daughter, Catherine (1757-1805) did not marry and lived with her mother until the end of her life. Their young daughter, Elizabeth, married first Richard Maitland and secondly Francis Charlton. Her daughter, Elizabeth Charlton (1766-1817) married Elizabeth Montagu's (1718-1800) nephew, Matthew Montagu, 4th Baron Rokeby (1762-1831).
